Loneliness, sadness, anxiety, shame, grief, guilt, numbness and anger drive the soul to seek escape by any means. Some solutions seem benign: work, exercise or Instagram. Others have obvious risk: isolation, alcohol, drugs, cutting and even suicide. Refuge is found until the solution becomes its own prison. Relationships fail, jobs become intolerable, study is unrewarding and pleasure remains unattainable.

Yet, hope whispers that life has something to offer, some way to reconnect to others, to feel understood and quieten the anguish. This website offers acceptance of your suffering, information and encouragement that you are taking the risk of seeking help.
